This FREE event will run from 11am to 5pm and offers fun for all the family, including an archery range, a vintage military vehicle display, vintage fairground rides, Punch and Judy shows and dance lesson taster sessions.

Step back in time with vintage singers and entertainment, sing-a-long to wartime classics, and enjoy vintage afternoon ‘tea for the troops’ in the mobile 1940s inspired tearoom.

Other activities in the park will include vintage fairground rides and free Punch & Judy shows and dance sessions. There will also be a paintball gallery, archery and rifle range and circus skills to have a go at.

Highlights of the day will include an opportunity to meet regular and reserve military units and watch as past and present armed forces personnel are presented with their veterans’ badges and service medals. In the afternoon, marching bands, standard-bearers and members of the Armed Forces will join together for the spectacular Beating Retreat, a military tradition dating back centuries.

Lily & Lolly’s Ultimate Vintage & Craft Fayres are delighted to be hosting the Vintage Marquee at this year’s Armed Forces Day event, where we will have a wonderful selection of vintage & craft stalls, and live music from vintage singer Reza Farrell.
